Build On Your Lot

FitzGibbons Custom Homes offers the opportunity to build one of our plans or develop a plan that will work very well with your lot. A FitzGibbons Custom Homes representative will meet you at the lot to do a Site Visit to help determine location, layout, and orientation of the future home. During the Site Visit, we can determine what your needs and future plans will be with your property.

Things to keep in mind when looking for property :

  • Location of electrical and water

  • High topography usually indicates increase in slab cost and you will most likely have stairs somewhere

  • Heavy trees increases the grading cost - you cant build a home on mulch so any trees in the building area should be removed not mulched

  • Driveway location verify if a culvert will be needed and confirm you can fit the drive way you want.

  • Septics - Out in the hill country most homes will need one. Verify what system is allowed on the property.
